We initially believed that dbop existed in the extremes, polarized: love and hate, good and evil, black and white. Just as Martin Atkins describes Pigface as more of a movement or emotion than a band, so too did we view dbop in this fashion. However, we, as individuals, are not polarized. We are confused, just like everyone else. We love, we live, and we are static. Thus, it is there, in between the extremes, that dbop exists. There must be a middle ground. As Jared Flann of NRT once wrote, "It's hard to tell the good from the bad and those that are in between, like me."

More concretely, dbop is the singular creative output of four New Orleans musicians:

Bullet — guitar/vocals
Decue — bass
D-Rock — keyboard/vocals
Robértbop — drums

Currently, dbop is recording their first album and playing shows locally and regionally. By the summer of 2005, dbop plans to begin our first US tour. By 2006, the phenomenon that is dbop will have penetrated your hometown, your heart, and your mind.
